The course on CSR for entities in the social economy is part of a larger project launched by the Secretaría Xeral de Emprego de la Consellería de Economía, Emprego e Industria, of the Xunta de Galicia (the Regional Government of Galicia). The main objective of this training is to make the entities aware of the importance of social responsibility by introducing their staff in the current context of CSR. Through the identification of CSR actions performed by organizations based in Galicia, we want them to consolidate CSR as a differentiating element for their entities, highlighing their potential to contribute to sustainable development.
The course includes formal education activities with the support of audiovisual content specifically designed for this training (theoretical content), non-formal education activities supported by new particiatory tools and AhO tools to encourage the debate among participants in order to build together the CSR model for entities in the social economy, the use of specific ICTs for the course and the use of the case method.
